About The Coop
25 family farms of Southeastern and South Central Wisconsin formed a cooperative in 1996 called Home Grown Wisconsin.
These farms share common philosophies about farming and eating as well as an order and delivery system that gets food from the farm to your table in less than a day.
Organic and sustainable agricultural practices result in the most delicious and healthy produce one can eat, while actually fortifying the soil in which it is grown rather than depleting and polluting it.
Hundreds of varieties of Wisconsin's best seasonal produce (including antique and heirloom varieties -- some grown exclusively for our partner restaurants) are delivered year-round. Even familiar varieties, available everywhere, taste dramatically better and remarkably different when grown and harvested with the care that our farmers know is essential to a superior product.
Camaraderie and communication among farmers and between chefs and farmers fosters knowledge, creativity, passion, and inspiration that result in the best possible food prepared in the best possible manner -- a great meal for you!
